Exercise. Start simple. Take walks or do
any physical exercise that you have enjoyed
in the past. Aerobic exercise helps the most.

Make yourself do something,
anything. Inactivity will only increase the
depression.

Talk to a counselor or to a friend or a
trustworthy adult. Talking about your worries and feelings helps.

Have a medical checkup. Consider
medications if recommended. Physical
problems can cause depression.

Avoid Alcohol. Alcohol is a central
nervous system depressant and will only
increase your depression.

Take care of yourself. Take time
with your appearance. It will improve how
you feel about yourself and that will improve
your depression.

Reduce your expectations
for yourself. If you enjoyed doing something
in the past, try doing it again. Simplify
and do basic things.

Learn to deal with anger
constructively.

Get up when you can't sleep.
And
get out of bed when you only want to sleep.

Eat regularly. Make a meal for yourself
and sit down to eat it. Eat alot of protein.

Find what works for you, but do
something.
